My journey into horror art started with SFX makeup, toilet paper, and Elmer’s glue. One cheesy face wound later, I was hooked. Makeup quickly turned into gore, and gore turned into physical creations — starting with my very first piece: a severed finger.
I’m completely self-taught, inspired by Goosebumps, my grandma’s love of true crime and spooky things, and a lifelong obsession with ’80s horror. My creative brain lives in a world of practical effects, slasher films, and campy body horror.
Latex is my favorite material to work with because of its endless possibilities, and my style is a full-on love letter to cheesy ’80s practical effects. If someone looks at my work and says, “Wow… that’s gross,” I know I did my job.
I create because it’s fun, relaxing, and deeply satisfying — and thanks to my husband’s encouragement, I now get to share (and sell) my horrors with fellow fans. One day, I hope to finally conquer the ultimate challenge: a realistic severed head.
